Travel Ta Bai Featured at Philippine Digest Magazine

Last Tuesday, January 27, I received my copy of Philippine Digest Magazine, where two of my articles were featured.

This marks a very special milestone for Travel Ta Bai—my very first time contributing articles to a magazine to help promote our country. I never expected that my passion for blogging would reach this far and allow me to be part of a publication that is distributed in the Middle East and the Netherlands.

My two articles were included in the magazine as part of an initiative to showcase the beauty of the Philippines. This opportunity was made possible through Lori Roa, who reached out to me via email to ask for permission to feature my work in the November–December issue of Philippine Digest Magazine.

It is truly an honor and a privilege to contribute to this publication and to share the wonders of our country with a wider international audience. I am deeply grateful for this opportunity to promote the Philippines through my writing.

The first article featured our trip to Bohol, together with my partner, where we truly enjoyed the island’s famous tourist attractions and beautiful beaches. It remains one of the best destinations I have visited so far in the Visayas region.

Bohol is widely known for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, and it is often included among the world’s most remarkable travel destinations. As Filipinos, we should be proud of what this island has to offer.

Some of the must-visit places in Bohol include the Floating Cottage, the Tarsier Sanctuary, the Blood Compact Shrine, the Old Churches, and, of course, the iconic Chocolate Hills—one of the most famous landmarks in the Philippines.

The second article featured our trip to Camiguin Island (Panaad 2008), also with my partner. This was another truly memorable journey because we traveled together with friends and everything was planned ahead. It was especially meaningful for me since it was my first time setting foot on Camiguin Island and experiencing its unique attractions.

Camiguin offers so many beautiful places to explore, such as its refreshing natural springs like Sto. Niño Cold Spring and Ardent Hot Spring, as well as its scenic mountains and waterfalls, especially the stunning Katibawasan Falls. The island is also home to historic landmarks like the Old Church Ruins and the unforgettable Sunken Cemetery, located in the middle of the sea.

And of course, no visit to Camiguin is complete without experiencing the breathtaking White Island, as well as walking along its famous Walkway and Runway. These are just a few of the many beautiful spots I was able to visit and enjoy on the island.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Lori Roa for including these two articles in the Philippine Digest Magazine. It is truly an honor to be part of this publication.

Our first travel and tour for this year will be a round trip from Cagayan de Oro to Bohol to Cebu and back to Cagayan de Oro. Wow—that will be a long and exciting journey!

This trip is set to happen in April, so stay tuned and keep visiting this blog for updates. All our travel experiences will be shared here, especially our upcoming stay in Cebu, including Bantayan Island. 😊
