With a Cebu Pacific promo, we were able to travel to Davao. We were excited because there were many adventures we wanted to try.
My girlfriend also loves adventure and enjoys trying new things. For us, every new adventure is another challenge and experience in life.
Together with friends, we decided to try scuba diving in Davao. All of us were first-timers, which made the experience even more exciting.
Dream Come True
Scuba diving had always been one of my dreams. I still couldn’t believe that I was finally going to experience it.
There were seven of us in the group who wanted to go underwater. The group also included the father-and-daughter team, the Uys.
For our Scuba Diving 101, we paid ₱1,350 per person. The package included kayaking, snorkeling, lunch, and some snacks.
Before we started diving, our guide gave us a short briefing. She explained what we needed to do while underwater.
First, she introduced the scuba gear we would be using. She also taught us the hand signals for communicating underwater.
Our guide also showed us how to equalize our ears while diving. These instructions helped us feel more prepared for our first dive.
While some members of our group were already scuba diving, we waited for our turn. We decided to spend the time kayaking and snorkeling.
As a first-timer, I admit that I felt nervous when my turn finally came. I knew it was time to face my fear and experience my dream.

Excited Yarn?
When the scuba gear was finally on my back, my heart started beating faster. I was really scared at that moment… hahaha!
Our instructor gave us time to practice breathing through the mouthpiece. This helped us become more comfortable with the equipment before going underwater.
Once we were underwater, everything changed. We could see the beautiful corals and colorful marine life around us. My nervousness slowly disappeared as I started enjoying the experience.
The diving area was called Coral Garden because of its large and beautiful coral formations. The area was also well-preserved for divers to enjoy.
According to our diving instructor, the area becomes busy during peak season. From November to May, many divers visit the area.
She said it feels like a fiesta underwater when many divers arrive. It must be an amazing sight to see so many people enjoying the underwater world.

i can say that the Philippines has one of the most beautiful diving place in the world for a worth of 1350 pesos you can enjoy the Kayak and Snorkeling plus a snack that’s very affordable compare to others happy diving 🙂
