Mid-Sea Express Bohol-Cagayan de Oro Flights

Good news for travelers from the Visayas and Mindanao!

Mid-Sea Express, one of the newest airlines in the country at the time, was set to expand its regional routes using its fleet of turboprop aircraft. Among its planned routes was a direct flight connecting Bohol and Cagayan de Oro, with flights expected to start in December 2011.

This was exciting news for travelers because it meant having a direct flight from Cagayan de Oro to Bohol and vice versa, making travel between the two destinations more convenient.

Starting December 2011, travelers from Cagayan de Oro and nearby areas would have two options when traveling to Bohol: take the Paras Sea Cat ferry service or fly with Mid-Sea Express.

For those who preferred a faster way to travel, the new direct air connection was a welcome addition. It also provided another option for tourists and residents traveling between Mindanao and the Visayas.

Mid-Sea Express already operates flights from Cebu to Camiguin, and now the airline is expanding its service to Cagayan de Oro City, known as the Rafting Capital of the Philippines.

The addition of Mid-Sea Express flights is another positive development for Cagayan de Oro’s tourism industry. With more flight connections coming to the city, it shows that Cagayan de Oro continues to grow as a tourism and travel destination in Mindanao.

For both residents and tourists, these new flight options make it easier to travel between the Visayas and Mindanao while allowing more visitors to experience what Cagayan de Oro has to offer.

  1. Direct flights from Tagbilaran City Bohol to the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Davao and vice versa is very much welcome/appreciated to everybody due to expected big volume of travelers to enhance and shorter the time aside from sea and land as means of transportation.
