Are you still waiting for the time to get back to normal? I’m sure many of us are so excited to travel again and missed some outdoor activities that you did before the Pandemic. Of course, you can’t expect that this time. As news media and health departments across the globe continue to inflate and magnify the presence of COVID-19, you can’t tell when this pandemic will end.
Here is another new travel spot destination to be included in your travel adventure and overnight bucket list which is located at the highland paradise of Northern Mindanao, Bukidnon. EL-UELO’S PLACE is a rest house located in Bangcud, Malaybalay City in Bukidnon along the banks of Sawaga River and offers overnight accommodation, a homey countryside ambiance, and a riverside view perfect for a small group looking for a night out in a serene atmosphere. Last April 2021 we also did an overnight at Hidden Creek Ranch campsite which is also somewhere in Libona Bukidnon where we followed the Manolo Fortich – Libona – Indahag road.
By the way, go back to El Uelo’s Place, you can witness paradise in this place. You can even relax there while waiting for the day or week to end. Of course, El Uelo’s Place has its rest house and camping area:

- Strictly No walk-in. Bookings only!

EL-UELO’S Place Must Remember:
- P100 if the rice cooker is used
- Overnight will start from 3 PM to 11 AM the next morning.
- Only Kubo and tent in this camping site.
- NO CORKAGE here, you can bring your own food and liquor

- Bring extra blankets and pillows
- Bring your extra tent if you have one.
Guide How To Get EL-UELO’S PLACE
GETTING THERE. From Malaybalay City, head down south along Sayre Highway, and upon approaching Bangcud Proper, turn left at Iglesia Ni Cristo church (near Nasuli Spring Access Road). The place is right at the end of the property along the river some 720 meters from the highway. Travel time is approximately 15 to 20 minutes from Malaybalay City.
