Hay naku, I am looking up pa naman sa imo, kay perme ka maka update about Cagayan de Oro. Pero dili lang man ikaw ang source sa mga info here sa internet about CDO, and there are a lot of competitions here and that is not the right thing to do for a competitor by threatening one like we don’t know anything about it.

First and foremost, I would have not mind this person from using the term CDOguide however this person copy-pasted information from CDOguide.com without acknowledging CDOguide.com as his main source. He was impersonating or pretending to be the CDO guide by using the information in my website and transferring it to his blog. Unsa may pasabot ana? Ako ang nag hago, lain ang mu gamit sa akong pangalan ug mu ingon sya iya na nga trabaho? This is already a gross violation of the websites Terms of Use. Anyone who uses the website automatically agrees to this Terms of Use.
Several people, websites and local companies have copied photographs and articles from CDOguide.com without acknowledging the website as their source. These individuals even profited financially from my work. Take note, I do not earn or ask anything in return for featuring hotels, restaurants and other commercial establishments in the website. These establishments basically get free advertisement from the website. Please read About CDOguide.
As for the photographs, I tried placing small watermarks in the corners of the photograph but it did not stop people from copying it. A local advertising company in Cagayan de Oro simply copied the photograph, removed the watermark and used it in their ad magazines (3 issues using 3 different photographs). I sent a letter of complaint to the company asking them to explain the incident. In fact I have already sent several letters of complaint and emails to various people, institutions, companies in Cagayan de Oro who violated CDOguide.com’s Terms of Use.
I have nothing to be insecure. In fact the website is again due for another update next month, October 2009. Updates will be limited as the site has already reached or consumed almost 100% of its space. I know someone here who posted a comment against me. Everyone has his own opinions. One of these days, I will just tap your shoulder and you would be surprise that all of this time, you have been talking to the owner of CDOguide.com.

I think cdoguide.com is somehow concern about sa iyang mga hinaguan from posting pics and articles and everybody seem to use it then wala siya na-acknowledge. It’s human nature na somehow malain ka kung wala ka na-acknowledge. Sipyat lang siya ug compose sa iyang comment diri. If only there were proper conversations about the issue, everybody happy pa unta post2x diri. Tutal, we have the same purpose pud sa pag write di ba. We are promoting our beloved city pero murag na-daot pud ang purpose sa atong panaghigalaay as kagay-anons.
