Kawayan Cliff Resort
Its already rainy season in the Philippines but it will not stop us to discover new attractions in Misamis Oriental. The ball club has a yearly outing activity, which we love to discover a new place and tourist attraction. Last year we discovered that the 3rd oldest church in the Philippines is in Misamis Oriental that is located at Brgy. Moog laguindingan. This year’s activity outing we discover the newly open Kawayan Cliff Resort at Initao Misamis Oriental.
According to the owner [Marevic} which I made a short conversation, it was started as a place for the family where they hang out and chill until she observed that the place is the potential to become a resort and tourist attraction. By that time she decided to get a business permit and start developing the place. Her friends love to visit the place because of it’s overlooking the sea, very relaxing with beautiful nature around it. On July 7, 2017, they formally open the resort to the public and start accepting guests.
Kawayan Cliff Resort is located on a cliff-top overlooking the sea with access to a coral beach at Pagahan, Initao, Misamis Oriental. The landscape of this resort is really nice for those who are into landscape photography. You can also check the 10 Of The Most Famous Landscape Photographers.
The good thing about this new resort of Initao is that you can rent the whole resort with affordable rates.

As we visited the place they have only a few cottages and its range from 1,000 – 4,000 pesos.

With an entrance fee of 40 pesos/person if you rent a cottage, No charge if you rent the whole resort and 100/person if you just want to unwind and don’t want to rent a cottage. Children with 10 years old below are free.
Since the whole resort by being rented for the day and/or evening it’s ideal for private family reunions, club gatherings, company outings, etc. For smaller groups, individual payags or tables may be rented for the day.
They are still developing the Kawayan Cliff Resort where the owner has lots of planned for this resort but for now, I can say they have a nice place to unwind, a beautiful set-up for the guests and accommodating staff.
