It’s been a long time since I posted about the Divine Mercy which is located at El Salvador Misamis Oriental. Our last visit at Divine Mercy was April 2008, its 5 months since our last visit, in that time the Statue of Divine Mercy is not yet finish. I think in that time I can say that 60-75% of the Statue was finished already. During the feast of the Divine Mercy the priest, who lead the mass was father Pacana. At the end of his mass, he said that by the month of September the Statue of the Divine Mercy will be turned over to the archdioceses. I’m happy that I and my partner are one of those people who witness the build-up of the Divine Mercy from the beginning until it will be done.
The statue was build by almost 2 years and the total cost of it is 30,000,000 pesos which we can say that it is a big, big amount of money. But thanks to the people who has a good heart which they give some donations to the statue of the divine mercy and to the church also who gave their contributions including other organizations.
Did I say finish..? Yes the Statue of the Divine Mercy was finished already and it was formal open last September 7, 2008, and it was formally turned over to the archdioceses last September 8, 2008. Last Saturday, September 7, 2008 me, my partner together with our friends we visited and witness the beauty of the Divine Mercy which so nice and attractive to the tourist especially to those religious group. It was so great and relax when you are facing the Divine Mercy Statue.
We arrived there around 6 pm which so sad that we did not catch the mass. But it’s okay at least we saw the whole statue of the divine mercy which is already finished. There are thousands of religious group who witness the opening of the divine mercy. I’m sure that this place will be one of the tourist spots Mindanao. Although we did not catch the mass of that evening it’s okay because we saw our favorite choir which is from Bohol, the international choir champion the “LOBOC CHOIR”. All of the members of the choir are young, talented and so gifted, they have nice and solemn voices which I can say that they are professionals already.

I’ve been there last May and I was really mesmerized by the view,it was really wonderful and such a holy place for me,I really urge everyone to come and visit the shrine, believe me miracles really happen there if you just have your faith in place……

@aprilstar..Yea you right during the mass and after the mass their is a miracle happens.. Just like the raise of the sun is moving and their are many miracle happen during that event..:-) BTW gays thanks for the visit..:-)

i was there last april 17 after our retreat in betania malasag. the place is so holy and beautiful.
