Cebu is located in the Visayas, the smallest of the three main islands in the Philippines. To travel to Cebu, you may take an hour long flight or a 22 hour long boat ride from Manila. Cebu is also accessible from other foreign cities such as Hong Kong and Tokyo.

In the 19th of April, less than five hundred years ago, Spanish explorer Ferdinand Magellan discovered the Philippines and planted a cross as remembrance of that fateful day.
