Travel Ta Bai

Wwooowww…yes…yehey… This is the expression when we witness the KAAMULAN FESTIVAL last Saturday March 8,08 at Malaybalay City the Capital City of the province of Bukidnon. We are so exited to witness their festival because some of us are first time to step in Malaybalay although it is near to our city. We leave Cagayan de Oro around 7 am and at around 9 am we’ve been there already. It’s a 2 hours trip going there, the transportation that we used to go there is only a bus and the fare is about 140 pesos one (1) way for the air con bus.

When we reach the City we go directly to the place where they held there street dancing which is the KAAMULAM place. There are 9 participants who join the street dancing competitions. There are many people who witness the festival some of them are foreigners and others are students travelers including us as a tourist who come from different places in the Philippines. We are so enjoy during the festival not only by the place where they have in the city but the celebration and especially the food trip that we had. This festival will hold every March of the year.

After watching and witness the street dancing, we witness next the Off Road challenge where in this is one of the biggest event in the festival. The Off road challenge will be start at around 1 pm but around 11 am-12 noon there are almost a thousand of people around the playground who would like to witness the Off Road challenge. While waiting to begin the off road challenge we diced to enjoy some of the activities just like the wall climbing and the horse back riding.

Travel is part of my life already; I would like to visit some other places in the world after I finish travel in the Philippines. As early as now I’m finding cheap flights especially on flights to germany is next to impossible. They are like new york flights with high fares. Finding accommodating flight deals can be very hard.

Before leaving to Malaybalay, the tours will not complete if we can’t buy some souvenirs. The souvenirs that we bought are T-shirts, Key chain, Koi and many others I could not remember the souvenirs that we bought..aheheh… By the way you can see the pictures how happy we are in witnessing the Kaamulan festival in Malaybalay.
