All of us are so tired going back to our hotel after the 1^st day of our activity during the Soccsksargen Summer Safari. We need to re-charge for the 2^nd day of our activity which is more adventure, excitement, physical and mental challenges. Day 2 has come and all of us I think are so excited for our travel destination in this day. Our first stop in this day is the Dolores Farm Resort which is our breakfast sponsor for this day and it was located at Polomok South Cotabato. This resort is not just an ordinary resort compare to other, why? Because inside this resort they a mini Zoo which you will enjoy the animals that they have, aside on this the resort have facilities also Hotel Arancillo, Kradumthong Function Hall, Kanyao Swimming Pool with deferent levels, Chanee Restaurant and Monthong Game Fishing. After breakfast we explore and take pictures in this resort which the resort has a wonderful place.

Around 9 – 10 am we went to Lake Sebu 7 Falls to try their Zip line which is you can see below are the falls and the virgin forest which I will not be tired to repeat this zip line although even its to far from the main camp. We are the type of people who are willing to try and explore the adventure that we encounter because you could not buy the experience and the happiness to experience this adventure. I previously try many times in Zip line and every time I Zip I enjoy it. Aside on the 7 falls amazing big mountains surrounds this lake and it has a beautiful and virgin forest. One the most unforgettable experience that I have in Zip line is when I try the Asia’s Longest Dual Cable Zip line which is located at somewhere in Bukidnon.

The next stop is the Punta Isla Lake Resort which our sponsor also during the lunch time of the bloggers. I love the location area of Punta Isla because they are over looking and in front of this Isla are the beautiful and clean Lake. The business of this resort was started last 1998 and it was develop and know in the public around 2008. Punta Isla Lake Resort is 12 years in business and I believe that if they continue their good service in their costumer they will know around the world and soon they will become one of the tourist spots in Mindanao.

Well make this post short coz’ I don’t know where to start and how to start this post during the Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour (MFAT)/Soccsksargen Summer Safari. I’m just thinking to start this post during our road trip from Cagayan de Oro or the time that we arrived in Davao. Hahahahyyyzzz!!!!! Where should I startJ. Maybe I don’t where to start this post because I enjoy the event and the places that we are visiting during Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour (MFAT) /Soccsksargen Summer Safari, yes I enjoy very much this event and the places that we are visiting specially the food that they serve on us.

Road Trip

Okay let me start this, pass 12 noon were CDO Bloggers arrived at Davao and have a lunch with Davao Bloggers at Ranchero. We meet some of them during the Mindanao bloggers Summit 3 and some of them were first time to meet (nice to meet you guys). If you are planning to visit Davao and if you would like to eat a delicious and yummy food I will recommend eating at Ranchero. It is my first time to taste a yummy and delicious baby back ribs where in you feel that the person who cooked this food is happy (assusss kay libre man(Free)).:-)

After our lunch we were on our way to the city of Generals (General Santos City), it takes 3 hours travel going there. We are 15 bloggers who went to Gen San and others will go after. We arrived around 6 in the evening and picked up by Orman from the highway terminal and checked in us at Iced Castle Experience where is we took our few minutes rest, wash up and will prepare for the dinner. But before our dinner we meet the owner of Iced Castle Experience (I.C.E) who has a generous heart to sponsor us and to make this event happen Rey Billena. Iced Castle Experience is not yet open to the public because there are parts of the hotel that are under construction, the hotel has a castle design and it is unique compare to the other hotel that we stayed before. This is our first day at Gen San during the Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour (MFAT)/Soccsksargen Summer Safari.

CDO Guide and my partner together with the CDO Bloggers Organization have a long trip this coming weekend, YES!!! Long land trip and it takes almost 10 hours for the land trip. Our land trip route this coming weekend is Cagayan de Oro – Davao – Gen San – CDO, this the first time where Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Soccsksargen bloggers will get together in one of the big event that is first time will happened in Mindanao and that is the Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour (MFAT), food is freeJ.

Our itinerary is this, CDO Bloggers will leave Cagayan de Oro on May 28, 2010 around 11pm going to Davao which is 5 – 6 hours road trip and hopefully we will arrive at Davao approximately 6 – 7 in the morning on May 29, 2010 Saturday then we will meet the Davao Bloggers then will have a breakfast together with them. After the breakfast, at 2 pm in the afternoon CDO Bloggers and the Davao Bloggers will leave Davao for a road trip again going to Gen San on the same day where CDO Bloggers arrive.

It is a 3 – 4 hours land trip going to Gen San and our target is that, we will arrive in Gen San around 5 -6 in the afternoon (evening). After we arrive at Gen San we will now meet the Socsargen Bloggers and of course after to meet them we will have a dinner together with Soccsksargen Bloggers and Davao Bloggers and we will spend 2 nights in Gen San. On Sunday May 30, 2010 is the whole day activities of the bloggers, the Socsargen Bloggers will tour us in Lake Sebu and also the tour will not be completed if will not try there Zip line. It’s 6 am to 7 pm activity (wwooowwww), I already imagine how tired we are after this activityJ.. And in our finale, Monday May 31, 2010 will have a half day activity and we will leave Gen San around 1 in the afternoon. Let’s welcome the new bread shop in Cagayan de Oro the Missy Bon-Bon bread shop. Looking for a comfortable bread shop? Well, I can recommend you guys to visit the Missy Bon-Bon which is located along Rosario Drive, Limketkai Mall, Lapasan Cagayan de Oro (fronting Mc Donalds). This bread shop is a newly opened last April 16, 2010 at 7:00 AM and I can say that the foods here are so yummy and delicious I will give you some back ground what is Missy Bon-Bon Breadshop.

A hip, cozy, relaxed, world class artisanal breadshop serving healthy, freshly made bread onsite with unique fusion interpretations of local bread products, gourmet comfort food, custom gelato mixes and a selection of freshly brewed coffee.

Last April 24, 2010 CDO Bloggers was invited at Missy Bon-Bon for breakfast to try their food. I’m so amazed when we get inside to this bread shop, the place is so organized and the ambiance inside is so unique compare to other bread shop. One thing that I surprise is that the serving of their breakfast, the serving is twice as the ordinary order in other restaurants.

I have 3 reasons why I recommend this to you guys:

1. They have a nice place and they are so accessible to everybody
2. They have yummy foods and ready to serve us with the fleshiest, natural, healthiest bread, pastries, gelato, and more
3. And the last is that, when you eat inside in this bread shop you feel that you are dinning inside your home.

So if you would like to start your day in a good mode then visit Missy Bon-Bon, as early as 7 o’clock in the morning this bread shop is already open and it will closed at 10 pm during week days and 7 am to 12 MN during weekend. The Cagayan de Oro Bloggers (CDO Bloggers) group is set to play host to the Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, which will be held on October 24, 2009. With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” the MBS 3 aims to uphold the beauty and strength of the island and to expunge the negative notions the world has about it.

(Cagayan de Oro City, Mindanao, Philippines – October 21, 2009) – It’s all systems go for the Cagayan de Oro Bloggers (CDO Bloggers) as they play host to the much-awaited Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3, an annual gathering of Mindanao-based bloggers, IT industry experts, community leaders and new media advocates, on October 24, 2009 at Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City. Roughly 300 bloggers are expected to attend this year’s summit.

With the theme, “Mindanao: Bag-Uhon Ang Panan-aw,” (Changing The Way People See Mindanao) the event aims to uphold the beauty and strength of Mindanao, to highlight the diverse cultures and fascinating tourist spots that are uniquely Mindanao and to provide a platform where bloggers and other new media practitioners can discuss concerns related to Mindanao – all with the help of new and emerging technologies.

“We are deeply honored. We’re certain that the summit participants will be delighted to meet her and we can’t wait for her to see our beautiful city,” Montes said.

Other speakers during the whole-day affair include Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Tinnex Jaraula, Agusan Lone District Rep. Rodolfo “Ompong” Plaza and Atty. Adel Tamano.

Google’s Philippine representative Aileen Apolo, whose talk will focus on beginners, Digital Filipino’s Janette Toral, who will discuss blog advertising and Lyle Santos, who will talk about making money online will also be present. Representatives of other blogger groups including those in Davao City, General Santos City and Zamboanga will also give updates.

After the summit proper, participants have the choice of joining either the city tour (Xavier University Museum, Cathedral, Divine Mercy Shrine, Opol Aviary, Limketkai Mall) or the whitewater rafting adventure.

As I search in the net, there are lots of bloggers already who blog about Mindanao Bloggers Summit 3 (and register) which is held at Cagayan de Oro City and it was hosted by the CDO BLOGGERS Inc. These are my reasons why I would like to join this event in this coming October 24, 2009.

1. I’m sure that this event I will meet new friends of bloggers and I know they will excited also to meet other bloggers.
2. I heard that during the Mindanao Bloggers Summit, CDO Bloggers will given away Nokia cell phones, Havaianas and many more… (wwoooww, how I wish I can get one..:-)).
3. I’m so excited also for those bloggers who will receive awards for the Philippine Blog Awards which is held also at this same day and that was after MBS3.
4. The most exciting is the 2^nd day because of the adventures that I will expect. If you are an adventurous person then you can try their White Water Rafting or if afraid the on water you can go with the City Tour.

I know lots of bloggers wonder why they pay for this event; the answer of this question is in the #4. Paying 1000 pesos for the rafting is so cheaper compare to the regular price that you will pay and also 500 pesos. For me paying 500 or 1000 pesos is nothing because I know I will surely enjoy this event and I know I can find way to get this money back. They said that “Kong gusto ay may paraan at kakayanin at kong ayaw may dahilan”. So what you are waiting now guys sign up to the registration form and CDO BLOGGERS are waiting for you.:-) So think guys this is once a year event and every year you will meet new friends in the world of blogging..
